I enjoyed building the website but it was a little difficult because i dint know what to do for all five pages. I would design a website again if i needed to because i found it fun and easy with the templates. I liked how the site gave you a template to go off of and there really wasn't anything i didn't like about it.

Apps

i use apps all the time on my phone. i feel like they make your life easier because they allow us to be connected to other people and its a convenient way to communicate. I feel like if there were no apps, people would be all around happier because life would go back to the simplicity it used to be before technology took over.

global issue reflection

no i really didn't enjoy learning about the global issues because it dragged on for a long time. i probably would have chose this topic if we had to do it again because i had already done this project so i knew what had to be done for it. i liked making the infographic because it didn't take very long and i was able to learn quick facts about my topic. i think that kids would enjoy it more if we could research any topic we want instead of having it be a global issue because the global issue got really boring.

to have a good presentation

to make a good presentation you should have something that catches the attention of the audience and that stays in their head like a phrase that summarizes the global issue. bright and neat slides are also very important because the audience can follow along easily without becoming distracted by things going on on the presentation behind the presenter. Music can also help convey emotions during a presentation so you can insert that when appropriate. visuals like graphs and pictures are also very helpful because they help the viewer understand the situation and it persuades the audience to take a stance on the topic.

Advice for presentations

1. 7x7 rule
2.practice your presentation
3. speak loudly facing the audience
4. dont read from the screen
5.know all of the information by heart
6. make eye contact with the audience
7. make presentation visible and easy to read
8. stand up straight
9. dont play with things
10. dont use yellow on a slide

Yals

Im so happy the yals won! I spent my weekend watching all the games and have followed the royals all season. Last night had so many ups and downs and it was like an emotional roller coaster. The royals had 7 turn arounds in the post season and last night they had their best one yet when they were able to come back and win with a 5 run lead. the game dragged on and on for most of the game and didnt pick up until the either inning. The yals wining the World Series is an event thats long overdue and tomorrow the whole town will be painted blue with the parade.
