Thanksgiving break

Over the break, i went to my aunts house for thanksgiving and spent the whole day there. After we left my aunts house my mom ad i went black friday shopping at Walmart. we got a new tv, a printer, a fitbit, then some toys for my little sister. We finished with that pretty early so we went to see Mocking jay part 2 on thanksgiving. the next day i went out with one of my friends to Paradise Diner and i really didnt do anything other than that this weekend. i slept a lot on saturday and sunday then did some homework. The morning i left my house at 6:45 because i had to go feed my aunts cat then come to school early for test corrections

I enjoyed building the website but it was a little difficult because i dint know what to do for all five pages. I would design a website again if i needed to because i found it fun and easy with the templates. I liked how the site gave you a template to go off of and there really wasn't anything i didn't like about it.

Apps

i use apps all the time on my phone. i feel like they make your life easier because they allow us to be connected to other people and its a convenient way to communicate. I feel like if there were no apps, people would be all around happier because life would go back to the simplicity it used to be before technology took over.

global issue reflection

no i really didn't enjoy learning about the global issues because it dragged on for a long time. i probably would have chose this topic if we had to do it again because i had already done this project so i knew what had to be done for it. i liked making the infographic because it didn't take very long and i was able to learn quick facts about my topic. i think that kids would enjoy it more if we could research any topic we want instead of having it be a global issue because the global issue got really boring.

to have a good presentation

to make a good presentation you should have something that catches the attention of the audience and that stays in their head like a phrase that summarizes the global issue. bright and neat slides are also very important because the audience can follow along easily without becoming distracted by things going on on the presentation behind the presenter. Music can also help convey emotions during a presentation so you can insert that when appropriate. visuals like graphs and pictures are also very helpful because they help the viewer understand the situation and it persuades the audience to take a stance on the topic.

Advice for presentations

2.practice your presentation
3. speak loudly facing the audience
4. dont read from the screen
5.know all of the information by heart
6. make eye contact with the audience
7. make presentation visible and easy to read
8. stand up straight
9. dont play with things
10. dont use yellow on a slide
