email is a way of communicating with other people that was around before cell phones. Ever since the invention of the cell phone, email has become less and less popular with people. I use email for school when i have to send papers to myself and to contact my teachers if i need help. people use emails to get coupons, connect with friends, and for work. i dont know anything about email etiquette

Base of persuasive essay

Thesis: i believe that significant strides can be made in the fight against drugs and alcoholism.

in the end i would like the spread the message and increase awareness about the topic to hopefully reduce the numbers of people effected by it.

10 Years From Now I Will Be.....

10 years from i really dont know where i will be. i could see my life taking many different paths by then. One place i could see myself being is being a successful business person impacting the economic world and advancing my own skills to achieve becoming CEO of a major corporation. Another place i could see myself is being a missionary in third world countries or becoming a chemical engineer to to help make clean water accessible in rural places around the world. In health, we are learning what personality color we are and, of course, I was gold (natural leader). I feel that I would be good in an office environment because i like to take charge and get things done. I dont like letting people help with tasks because they usually mess up so i do it by myself. I think i can best apply myself as a person somewhere i can control everything that is going on.

Global Issue

Yesterday, i did not decide on a topic for my project but i have some ideas of what i want to do. I am thinking about doing endangered species because i feel its a topic really overlooked by people and most of the time its our fault they are becoming extinct. Another topic i was thinking about doing was drug abuse because its becoming a greater problem in our country and i feel i can relate to it on a personal level because my step dad was an addict. This one is really important to me because it has affected mine and my family's lives. I will probably end up choosing this one just because i have a lot to say about it. 

Not all people view drugs as a bad thing. Some people believe in medical marijuana because it relaxes the body and some think that actually legalizing the drugs will reduce the urge to use them illegally. People also don't think drinking is bad because they believes its a healing agency or they weren't educated to know its bad for them. Although, most people believe that alcohol and drug abuse are bad and are having a negative effect on our society. there are both people for and against the issue but really there shouldn't be any grey area. 

This topic isn't really one that can cause controversy because its pretty black and white. One perspective people see from is how bad it is. They realize how it can really mess up someones life and others involved in it. being addicted to drugs can lead to dangerous behaviors. other people see drugs as helping the community from a medical standpoint and say how its important part in medical research.

5 Global/Domestic Issues

1. Child Obesity rate- i know it is becoming a bigger issue in the US and it causes a life of health issues and then their children are more likely to become overweight as well
2. Women's rights- men are given more authority over women
3. Global warming- ice caps are melting and the core temp of the earth is rising
4. Endangered species- most of the time its humans fault because we take away their habitat.
5. Drug use- they are becoming more common especially with states legalizing weed.
